The Marquee is one of Dancing DJs most popular and powerful features. Dancing DJ automatically does all the required work and requires absolutely no attention from the dj other than turning it on or off. Dancing DJ also performs this task much better than any dj can. It's always up-to-date and switches instantly with the music. A very difficult and time consuming job for any dj to match.

At a glance, dancers can see the current dance, the next four upcoming dances and the time remaining for the current dance. This helps your dancers select new partners well in advance, schedule their breaks and position themselves for their next dance. Dancing DJ can also automatically announce the next dance and the Marquee can be used with or without this announcement. What has been shown, time and time again, is that once experienced, your dancers simply won't let you turn the marquee off.

The Marquee has many optional features such as font selection, color selection, screen placement and even transparency. Transparency is available to allow the display to show background video or images or advertising without being blocked by the marquee. By default, the marquee is set to full transparency for video backgrounds  and partial transparency for static images. The Marquee is automatically set to 0% transparency for the first 30 and last 30 seconds of the music assuring the dancers can easily see its information.

The simplest Marquee is your computer display. Better yet is a large TV screen and best of all is a projector. Projectors and their large displays are easily visible from any spot on the floor. For the dancers. larger is always better. Any option allows simultaneous background displays of images, web pages, dance videos or announcements of featured or upcoming events. Dancing DJ allows easy drag-drop of images and video to any song in any playlist. You will quickly see that the integrated marquee and having Dancing DJ schedule images and video will enhance the party experience. It will also make you money.

As a side note: The marquee was originally conceived as an aid for beginning ballroom dancers. We soon realized, however, that nobody wants to look awkward, on the floor, even for a few moments, while trying to determine what kind of dance to put to the new music. The current Marquee style is the result of the input from many dancers and usable both for ballroom and other party situations. It has even found a home in a night club announcing the next upcoming exotic dance act. You will immediately see the difference in happier, more relaxed dancers and better traffic flow.
